Rodger P. Wilson, RPh, President
My formal education is pharmaceutical sciences but my career has been software development. After graduate school and over the past 25 years, I have lead several development projects creating, testing, deploying and supporting applications for the medical field that are installed on several continents. Today, I live in Northern Colorado and concentrate on iOS applications. As a former CIO, I have managed all phases of the development cycle.

iOS Development

Developed iOS software for the general public for sale in the Apple App Store. The apps have been voted Application of the Week. They feature the use of CoreData, gaming loops, REST interfaces to the APIs of multi-national companies, and sound/animation synchronization.

Program Management

I have managed all phases of the software lifecycle including project planning, design, engineering, testing, documentation, implementation and ongoing support. I have managed teams of several hundred across multiple geographic locations.

Most of my career was spent developing multi-tiered, medically-oriented systems intended for the pharmacy, laboratory or cardiology (telemetry). These systems were typically a GUI frontend, a business logic middle layer, and a relational database as the bottom tier.

My initial transition to mobile computing was through implementation of light-weight web applications but more recently have focused on iOS applications.

My formal training is in Computer Science.  I have spent most of my career has been in the storage sector, working in China and North America.  I am fluent in Chinese and English. Today I live in Colorado, writing iPhone software.  As a Senior Engineer, I have managed projects, written specifications and code. My greatest joy is developing iOS applications and spending time with my family.

iOS Development

Develop software for credit unions and banks to be distributed by each institution.  At this time, nearly 100 banks use this software, making the app one of the most widely distributed in the United States. The mobile app is available for both Android and iOS). The app interfaces to bank servers using encrypted clear text over the Internet.

Develop App Store applications for sale to the public. The apps demonstrate technical skills associated with the deployment of CoreData, Quartz, background data acquisition threads, and game loops.

Program Management

I manage projects from start to finish to assure that our customer receives product by release dates with appropriate, defined features.  This includes hosting weekly program calls and program documentation.

Managed hardware development cycles associated with OEM hardware vendors.  This is largely a management process.  Responsibilities include review of vendor designs, managing relationships with outside companies, writing and presentation of hardware requirement.

I am fluent in Mandarin and have provided coordination with Chinese development teams. Knowing Mandarin is key in building close ties with Chinese engineers. Being fluent in Mandarine allows me to provide a natural bridge between our North American clients and our Chinese engineering.

Software Engineer

In addition to engineering mobile applications, I have engineered storage device drivers and card firmware including iSCSI target-mode HBA device drivers, SSD (Fibre Channel Disk driver), SES (SCSI Encloser Services), FC initiator drivers, SAS HBA initiator device drivers, SAS target-mode device drivers and FC target-mode device driver.
